History

A school was established shortly when national liberatiin, on September 2, 1946. At a period it was referred to as Busan Normal School (부산사범학교) & provided expert training for simple-school teachers. It was expanded to handle secondary teachers within 1955, and became Busan Teachers' College. Around 1961, it wwhen reorganized and renamed as Busan National College of Education. It became the iv-month college within 1981, and the university inside 1993. A grad school was established inside 1996.
